    Forty Under 40 Awards to Launch in the UK 18th November 2023.

    Xodus Communications the organisers of the esteemed and internationally renowned Forty Under 40 Awards announce the UK instalment and awards nomination today to British business leaders living and conducting business in the United Kingdom.

     

    The Forty Under 40 Awards is designed to identify and recognize extraordinary trailblazers and celebrate a cross-section of the nation’s credible, influential and accomplished entrepreneurs under the age of 40 from a wide range of industries, who are drivers of economic & business growth, committed to professional excellence, community service and have risen up the ranks of their companies or industries.

     

    Xodus Communications in association with Diaspora Global Group invite Nominations across multiple disciplines including Professional and Entrepreneurial Achievements, Innovation, Vision, Leadership, Power and Influence, Business/Community Involvement and across 40 categories for the Forty Under 40 Awards. The African edition was successfully concluded in March 2023 with 25 participating countries in Africa. Full description of each UK Award Category and criteria can be found HERE

    The forty Under 40 Awards will adhere to best practice standard of ISO 20121 and will be audited by a UK Jury consisting of:

    Interested advocates and candidates must submit their nominations at www.fortyunder40.co.uk on or before 15th August 2023

    1. Eligible nominees must be UK residents, living and doing business in the United Kingdom.
    2. Nominees must still be under the age of 40 or 40 in the year of the event.
    3. Nominees must be an entrepreneur, CEO or co-founder, Shareholder, Managing Director of a UK registered company.

    Tiakola Live in London

    Big production, Gen Z and array of premiership football stars all present to watch French-Congolese artist Tiakola rock the O2 Forum in Kentish Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

    Long organised queues around the O2 Forum on Easter Bank Holiday Monday two hours ahead of doors opening, was a great indication of the good turn-out expected all and sundry. At 8pm the BBC1 Xtra DJ Edu, energetic host, Adesope and support acts teased the alacritous audience with incredible music, special effects, dance and just great vibes.

    By 9pm the auditorium was packed to the rafters by a multinational yet predominantly French speaking Gen Z fans; who created an atmosphere vibrant enough to awaken the curiosity of the calm and artistic vibes of Kentish Town as Tiakola dawned the stage. Supported only by his live band, DJ Hype man and occasional featured guest artists including Highlyy – Tiakola, was captivating to watch.

    The unassuming and charming Tiakola who walked on to the stage like the boy next door was hailed with the roaring applause of a mega-star; treating his die-hard fans who sang every song word for word to an hour 30 minutes of his fantastic music catalogues amassed in his relatively short career.

    In just 5 Years, Tiakola has built a core fanbase across Europe and last night confirmed his super-stardom in the UK, when he not only sold out his debut concert but had notable fans and support from the likes of Santandave, Central Cee, Headie-one, DJ Abrantee in attendance, a long guest list of Premiership footballers including Crystal palace player Odsonne Edourd, Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah, Spurs player Yves Bissouma, Man United’s Anthony Elanga, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and so many more. He had great crowd control completely owning the stage especially with big hits like Gasolina, Méle, Soza, Cinderella, Pololo, Si J’savais, Meuda before ending the night with crowd favourite La Clé.

    The event’s promoter Known as Moko of CongtoGlobal commented “There seems to be a big appetite and audience in the UK for Tiakola, the music and his counterparts by the large francophone community as this marks our 5th sold-out concert in 18 months and there is much more to come. Tiakola’s reception and showmanship was special tonight and he left the audience wanting much more; who knows maybe next year we do the O2 Arena”

    Through the new generation of emerging Afrobeats Artists, AV has already established
    a strong foothold in the community with his debut single, “Big Thug Boys.”
    This went on to quickly peak at No.5 on the Billboard Triller Chart and became the No.7
    most Shazamed song in the world and Apple Music Top 100 across Africa including Nigeria,
     the birthplace of AV.
     
    Inspired by the likes of Burna Boy and Davido, AV says his legacy is to bring happiness to the world through his music and is largely supported by his fan base, known as the “Avengers”
    With over 300,000 avengers and 210, 000, 000 streams on previous tracks, AV is ready to make waves with the launch of his new 5 track EP packed with incredible and infectious anthems.
    “Thug Love,” is due to be released on 2nd December 2022, with launch parties following soon after in both London and Paris. AV says that through this release, he hopes to spread love and establish the understanding that “an imperfect love is the realest state of love, a love with flaws.” With features including Vict0ny, this EP may very well set the course for AV’s undeniably successful future.
